Objective:
My objective is to excel in a professional career in the education of children. I am a third Generation Oklahoma educator and passionate advocate of life-long learning. I wish to use my talents, training, time and effort to ensure the next generation of Oklahomans has access to a quality education and passionate, dedicated educators.
Professional Experience
Tulsa Public Schools 2007-present
As a professional educator for Tulsa Public Schools I have taught numerous Social Studies courses from 7th thru 12th grade. I have been in several innovative and alternative settings as well as a traditional setting. I have presented at conference and collaborated on curriculum and instruction instruments for classroom instruction.
Cherokee Casino and Resort 2005-2007
As a Hotel shift supervisor my responsibilities included overseeing staffing, training and developing quality front desk agents, preparing and reviewing various reports for executive staff, ensuring all guests had a positive experience and making sure all my agents were properly trained and prepared for their expected tasks.
OK Victory 2004 May to December of 2004
As a field organizer for the 2004 campaign my responsibilities included recruiting, training and preparing volunteers for organized canvasses, phone banks, event coverage and other visibility and message driven activities of a typical grass-roots campaign.
